I attended Spire Hospital Cambridge and was seen by Mr Niel Kang. I was immediately put at ease….”we can treat most symptoms without surgery” was his first line. Very reassuring. Listened to my symptoms, gave me options, arranged an X-ray within 30 mins followed by an immediate review. Again explained options and I left very reassured. Great ‘bedside manner’ thank you.

Mr Kang was very attentive, understanding, patient and thorough with his evaluation that ultimately led to a surgery to reattach a torn tendon. I've been extremely pleased with Mr Kang's consultation and follow up surgery and care and am on a positive trend for great recovery. The physio protocol provided to follow post surgery is extremely well put and thorough and Mr Kang provided extra insight on how to properly follow up and help the healing process.

I needed an operation for an elbow that was broken in multiple places. I feared it might require a plate but Mr Kang sutured it, fitting all the broken segments expertly into place. He telephoned me before the operation and talked me through the procedure and post operation phoned my wife to update her. The care was exemplary and the operation a complete success. Four months on I am in no pain, have 95% movement and have no loss of sensation. I am grateful to have been on the receiving end of his expertise. It is not my intention to fall off a ladder again but, if I do, I know who I would like to be treated by! Thank you.

I broke my humorous at the beginning of December 2020 and it did not heal naturally.I was in an arm brace for 14 weeks whereupon it was decided that surgery would be the best option.I was in theatre 48 hours later and had a plate pin my bones. I was treated with respect at all times and looked after very well.Mr Kang was a very professional man as were all members of his team. The proceedure was explained to me so that I had no worries beforehand. Since the operation my arm is a huge improvement and surgery has definitely helped.Aftercare with Mr Kang in clinic has been good,I was shown the X-ray with the plate in my arm and had it explained to me. I would thoroughly recommend this specialist, he has great knowledge in his field and will say it how it is.He doesn't flower things up, just wish he would smile a little more !!
